I am happy to introduce two projects that I co-lead – (718) and Tri-Fi.
Both are creative trios exploring improvised music. Tri-Fi features myself on acoustic bass playing in a modern jazz style, and (718) is a electric bass/pedalboard free-for-all that features Tri-Fi pianist Matthew Fries on a Fender Rhodes with various effects. Both are definitely worth a listen!

I am fortunate to have the support of some great companies!
I've been using instrument cables made by a great company called Analysis Plus for a few years now. I use the Yellow Oval quitar and microphone cables, the Clear Oval speaker cables, and the Pro Power Oval power cables. I also use their complete line of audiophile home stereo cables!
My string of choice for the acoustic bass is Pirastro's Evah Pirazzi orchestral gage string. They are a synthetic core gut string that has everything I need. They feel like a gut string, sing like a steel string in the upper register, and bow great.
I bought the very first Ten2 bass amplifier from Acoustic Image in 2009. No kidding- the serial number is 00001. It is certainly the most natural sounding acoustic bass amplifier I have ever used, thanks largely to the downward firing 10" speaker. It also has a forward facing 10" speaker and tweeter. My favorite feature, however is the built in phantom power and XLR mic cable connections.
